Well, our skirts were a yeechy houndstooth plaid too & I think it covered all the bases Maroon & some brown & yellow with some white. We did the shoe thing too though I don't know we could get away with quite that much. I remember strappy sandals & knee socks & platforms. We did push it with the hemline & sheer blouses though.
~I'm starting to think that the 21st chromosome may somehow be linked to Mommy being stressed by the nuns for all those years !
Merideth had a fever last night but it seems to be better today. Has me on pins & needles of course. My dad is not doing well at all. Just multiple problems between his heart, lungs & prostate.Progress is slow.

Doris - Check to make sure you have javascript turned on on your computer (look under "settings" then "internet options" on your browser and make sure it's checked "on")
Steff - glad Jeff is doing so much better - continued prayers!!
Barb - I had a bit of blue hair in highschool too....and a wacky reverse bob, very uneven. I fit in very well at those Smiths and Cure concerts, LOLOLOL!! I did like the blue hair though...if I was just a bit younger I wouldn't mind having my hair dyed like that again :-0
Not much going on here...Meghan has about another week off before school starts. I think she'll be glad to get back but I'll miss her. First time for full-day (9-2) classes. So far there are only girls in her class...I know she's going to miss her little boyfriends!! But atleast she'll be there w/ a few girls she gets along with really well. But there will be 3 or 4 Meghan's in her class...so that's gonna be confusing for her, LOL!
ok, got tons to do today so talk to y'all later! laurie

Hi,
STEFF: So glad to hear that Jeff is starting to feel better! Prayers for you, Jeff and your brother! And it is just so cool you're going to get to see Greenday at such a small venue! Gotta say I am a little "green" with envy here!
~
SUZI: Glad to hear that Meri sounds like she's well on the road to recovery! Hope your Dad is doing better too. You definitely sound like you deserve a trip to the Island to be pampered and waited on hand and foot by an army of Cabana Boys! Make that you, Steff, and Christine - pregnant women always deserve the deluxe treatment!
~
All this talk about catholic high schools has brought back some scary memories for me too! While we didn't have the awful brown and yellow color scheme, we did have the lovely maroon and grey! YUK! We girls had to go past the principal every AM so that she could measure our skirts - there could be no more than 5 inches between the top of the required knee socks and the hem of our skirts! So funny because you'd see us all walking up the stairs to the building rolling the skirts down from the waistband! Then we'd be rolling those skirts up high as could be the minute we got out the door at the end of the day! I'm still clueless as to just who we were trying to impress?!?! Another goofy thing we did was this: since they had no rules about what kind of shoes we wore, we really pushed the limits there! At various times, I wore Army/Navy Surplus store combat boots; one red, one purple hi-top Converse All-Star sneaker at the same time; good old DR Scholl's sandals; and some of the highest platform shoes I could find - yes, I fell off them more than once and sprained my ankles! This was also during a time when I had many different colors of hair - often at the same time! I look at pictures now and think what the heck were we thinking!!!
~
Okay, long enough trip down memory lane, time to take the trip up to bed!
Take care!
Barb

Glad to hear Jeff is doing better Steff!! You guys are in our thoughts and prayers.

Well, finally I got the doctor to do a celiac test on Cody. For 2 years now he has told me he didn't need one. Well put my foot down and he was tested for celiac and thyroid. Both test results came back high. So now we have two more appointments to make for St. Louis and they can't get them on same day. I have to take Kylie on 7th and Cody gets tubes again on the 10th. Just too much traveling for me, especially since we will just be getting home from Ohio. NOt really for sure what that means about them coming back high but guess I will find out. Have to do some research tonight. Well, 3 more nights and we are headed to Ohio. Can't wait to see everyone, hope more decide to come.
hugs,
Kristi

HI!!!

Thanks you guys!!!! Gotta tell ya Jeff is doing a lot better. Today his intestines started to work again so thats a step forward!!:) Yesterday Olivia and I went to see Jeff. She walked in and said HI DAD!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! just in this sweet little voice.... It was really cute. Wanna hear something wild???? My sister who has NEVER stepped FOOt in the hospital for any of my babies Jeffs surgeries my bros chemos etc(she literally gets pale and ill you can see the color disappear from her face) well she decides to go visit Jeff with my mom in the morning. Now this is a BIGGIE for her... WEL I hate to LOL cause it really isn't funny but..... They go to Jeffs room he is being taken up to a new room.(thankfully cause he shared his first room with 3 guys and 1 old man who kept swearing they were trying to burn down the room and when Jeff goofed on him when the nurse came to see why the guy was screaming the old man said if he were 20 yrs younger he's kick jeffs a** whereby my hubby says you could probably kick my a*** now. Just a hoot. The ole guy needs a kidney and refuses a transplant and says the STRANGEST THINGS all the time... He thinks everyone is out to get him.ANYHOW my sis and ma go to the floor where they have just moved Jeff to to walk into the room to see surgeons performing EMERGENCY(no anesthesia no pain med left in the patients little finger press thing) surgery they had him OPENED UP POKING AROUND and flushing him out all in a CHAIR!!! The guys surgery site had gotten infected and I believe his colostomy was leaking UGGG!!! WELL then my sis gets to see Jeffs tummy after the nurse takes off the belts they have around his staples and tubes and drains. OMG!!! I got her a chair in the hall and she looed terrible. Guess it'll be a LONG time for her to go back to any hospital. BTW the guy who had the emergency surgery feels great now. I went back later and he looked awesome and was talking and up. Kyles buddies dad just called and he found out about Jeff and is gonna take Kyle for the day and part of the night. He is teaching the boys how to surf so he takes em a few times a week. GREAT GUY!!!Tomorrow I start school I loweed my units from 12 to 9 though cause don't think I can take it. My mom PROMISED if I took more units(more than 6) she would watch the kids while I was in school. Well tomorrow I go all day from 11-7 so she is eating her words right now cause Olivia's camp ended friday so they are home till the 9th when they start school.
A!!!!! I miss ya gal and BTW my yahoo is gone I installed in on Jeffs laptop cause it wouldn't install on this computer(I need to work on it) and he hates that messenger so he uninstalled in on his laptop!!! ;( I am gonna try to fix whatever is cause it not to install on this computer tonight cause I haven't had it for so long and I love the yahoo messenger...Wonder if I can get the same ID back???Gptta go should be gone already !!!! (((HUGS))) Thanks so much you guys!!! Steff

Hi.. Laurie,SUZI and Christine..thanks for the prayers and well wishes.
Laurie hope everything is going well for your family...
Suzi... I am SOOOOOOO happy to hear that Hula gal Meri is doing so well so quickly!!!! Hope its nothing but a MIGHTY SMOOOOTH recovery. Kids blow my mind how well they recover. Give that beauty a hug from me..:) AND PRAYING your mom will go the "right thing to do" mode.

Christine... OMG OMG you are cracking me up. NO WAY!!! And after I read your post I laughed for the first time all day. And YES I 4got we also did the tie the knot thing. I went to a school with the nuns of Notre Dame. Is that "cheeky" attire a Notre dame nun thing??? hmmm were your nuns??? I gotta post one day a GROOVY picture of me and my pals in our lovely uniforms eating lunch. The Farrah hair. Lord have mercy...

Got Jeffs room # wrong when I posted it but the truth be known I've been unplugging his phone cause man it rings sooooo much. You guys he is no good. Long story too too tired but they are saying they are gonna put in a pic line... get this next wed. so hes gonna be ther a while. He looks WAY worse than after his open heart surgery. I mean like night and day. :( he has all those monitors and the ng tube and the 3 tubes that drain the blood from his belly and dagnabbit if a doctor has yet to call me. Long story too BUT if my family would be even a tiny bit helpful with the kids I could get to business and find out EVERYTHING. These are the times I wish I had relatives and parents like most of my friends. Ya know my gf's mom said she would take the kids for a day and night and I wanted to shout CAN YA SAY THAT IN FRONT OF MY PARENTS??? see Catholic school guilt comes in handy my mom woulda said I'll do it..hee hee ..Enuf moaning and groaning they do have the best darned cafeteria ... hey there are perks. The kids wanna see Jeff 2morrow but I am my wits end whether to take em or not.he looks terrible and the tubes and the moans and he really can't talk more than a couple of words hes in a lotta pain.he could NEVER fake it . After I picked up Olivia from camp and kyle from my sisters I took the kids for dinner . Kyles BIG eyes welled up when I asked him if he wanted to see dad tomorrow and eat in the cafeteria and go back up after lunch to see him a bit more? He said yes. So I HAD TO(not sure this was the right decision) in my mind prepare him for what dad is gonna have on him and he may not talk much cause it hurts after you have surgery.Liv breaks in with a I'M GONNA SIT ON HIS LAP...LMAO. I could barely touch Jeff without him wincing. (brought some baby bath lol and rinsed him off. But man it hurt for him to barely be touched .Well gave her the talk about doing that.ANYHOW thats whats up. I won't post here next time when I track down the doc I'll do it on the bulletin board.. HUGS steff

On a lighter side...I too went through way to many years of Catholic School education and went to an all girl HS. I also hiked up my brown checked skirt and tied a knot at the bottom of my BANANA YELLOW SHIRT!!! OMG! How many schools had those gross colors???
Love and hugs to you both!

Oh Man! Steff! I think we need to book a flight to UnoIsland ASAP!
Hope Jeff is doing better! Prayers going up !
I'm posting from the library at CHP.
Meri is well. Right now she's in Echo. Mike rode down in the elevator there with her since only 1 parent is supposed to go. THey may release her tomorrow if it looks good. THey pulled her drain tube & temp pacemaker last night & took her off o2 cannula. Her sats have been sitting at 98%.
My dad on the other hand is still in ICU at Mercy Pitt. up the street. My mom decided to make an appearance this week though she'd flying back to CA tomorrow. SHe stirred a lot of S$%^ up with their D & all. Looks like Mike & I may have to financially bail my dad out & get him a place to live when it's all over.(I think she's gonna force sale of the house they had here to split assets but his bills will exceed the profit) Just what he needs sitting in his mail when he gets out.
Love to everyone!
Q~ hope the big 21 was good ! ;-) I couldn't get free to call. ENjoy Dayton!
Suzi
I havn't even checked on my Gram since Mon.

Been complaining bout his tummy 4 3 days but not too bad. WELL I am getting worried at 3 am I am dozing off and he says STEFF we gotta go. I look at my big guys eyes filled with pain filled tears. Well dropped kids off at 4 am then go to ucla where they did the ultrasoun,x ray, then a catscan. Guess what Jeff had emergency surgery at 10 am with the chief of surgery to repair a strangulated vestal(sp-> means it is where scar tissue is like where his scars are from 2 tricuspid valve transplants.) abdominal hernia. His intestines blood supply was cut off and they had to fix it fast. ME??? knowing how docs don't talk. RACE to med plaza and the liver institute and tell em to call the doc and yeam b4 they start and also told his internist who is his pcp. POOR GUY.The surgery they told me would be 2 hours 4 hours later with absolutely not one of my family there(they have never waited with me during jeffs surgeries.i never have had 1 person there with me but my kids. thats another story..lolnot) He is in xtreme pain he had gotten to his room at 6 from recovery and when i saw him he had ... tube from his nose 3 tubes from his belly that led to those ya know blood collectors.EWWW and man was in PAIN!!! kept pressing that dang pain button. So my man is well they say at least a week at ucla if anyone wants to say hi he's rm 505 east..hugs steff

Theresa - Prayers for a safe trip home and a happy reunion for your family!! URL is a website address -- an ICQ # is an ID for instant messaging - I think it's a specific web community, but am not sure. ICQ = I Seek You. You can check www.icq.com for more info.
Welcome Damion and family! Looking forward to hearing more about all of you!
Steff - sounds like the circus was lots of fun!! too cute, thanks for sharing! Prayers of recovery for your brother....enjoy the Green Day Concert! very cool!!
Pat - hugs to you!! Meghan is driving me crazy w/ constantly removing her clothes & diaper/pull ups. Everytime she goes for a nap, off come the clothes! Don't want to jinx myself but the worst we've had is her peeing in her bed a few times....
Well, I never thought I'd say it but I can't wait for school to start! These kids are driving me batty! I can't go anywhere w/ the 2 of them because the double stroller is broken, so we mostly hang out in the backyard, which is great - but it would be nicer if we had a fence to contain them...LOL!! And now Meghan is afraid of the beach - more the water than anything, but she just hates being there now, so that's out too. Oh well!
hope everyone is doing well. laurie

I have always considered Good Riddance(Time of Your Life) as kind of a good luck charm. When John was a tiny 2 week old baby we had to go to the cardiologist to make sure there were no surprises. I was weepy and sad in the car, worried I could not handle all "this", when that song came on. I had heard the song many times before, but that day it spoke to me. I knew then that I could handle anything that day. I have listened to it many many times since as kind of a pick me upper. Funny to think that a good Catholic girl could have Green Day bring her an epiphany.
Have a great time at the concert.

STEFF.. I know this sounds funny but I kept asking how your bro was and never got a response from you so I was not sure he was still alive. If he's in the hosp I know he is and I'll start praying for him again:^) You had posted a long time ago when Jeff & bro were in the hosp I think at the same time.
It's been crazy here. I'm trying to potty train John-John. He knows when he is wet or dirty, prefers underware but has no idea what to in that potty chair! Yesterday he: unloaded the frige and freezer 2x and JUST the fridge 4x :took his diaper or underware off a zillion times..so he pooped on the floor..got it all over him & the rug & thank God only a little painting on the door(he usually produces a masterpiece!:and poured parm cheese all over the floor. Where was I? Just downstairs cleaning with frequent trips upstairs. I guess not frequent enough! This just seems to be the typical day around here lately. Not nessasarily these exact things but just as many. A day in the life of John-John.
From one tired mom!

Theresa and damion

Welcome to Uno mas. You will find a vast amount of info and most likely some wonderful life long friends who share the same pitfalls and joys you may be experiencing.

As far as thepotty training my girl Olivia really mastered it at5and 3/4 just before attending reg ed kindergarten. That was a BIG BIG issue for me. The summer before she went to our big home school where she was to be with the reg ed kids I was FREAKING OUT cause I did not potty training to set her apart from the typical kids. She had an aide for personal and health related reasons but really she was there to modify Livs work and take her to the potty. The entire summer before she wore BIG GIRL panties. I bought her spongebob ones dora ones all her fav characters although it was hard to find as my girl at that time was a BIGGEN.(how many dora and barney panties can you find in the 14 size panties.

Although a funny when we go to the beach when she sees a guy in speedos and says EWWWWW MOM HE'S WEARING PANTIES!!!!LMAO...

Olivia lost her top tooth friday night(her first) got 5 bucks from the tooth fairy(she pulled it out herself) then 2 days later her bro asked her if she wanted to pull out her very loose bottom one she said YES and he did it. 2 teeth in 3 days. My toothless girl looks FAB-O-LOUS!!!!LOL Gotta jet its 2 in the morning.BYE

My name is Damion and I have three children. Their names are Breonna (5) Loran (4) and Izaha (2). Breonna has DS.I found out that she had DS when I was 6 months pregnant with her,I was only 17 Yrs old. It was devistating. They told me that she had a heart problem and that she might have to have surgery when she was born. M due date was 11-21-98 and I had her on 9-29-98 she was 9 weeks early. She done realy good when she was born. She weighed 5lbs 3.2 oz.She could not hear out of her left ear and still had the heart valve problem so they kept her in the hospital for 2 weeks after she was born. Then one day her doctor came in to the nicu and told me that her heart problem was fixed with meds and that she could go home. I got to take her home on my 18 b-day and that was the best b-day gift I ever got.She has not had any medical problems since. Now she is a very happy 5 year old. The only problem I have had with her at home is the potty training,we are still working on that. She gets to start school in september at Noble she is realy excited.

Hello again. I am back again and have some very exciting news that I would like to share with all of the people that belong to this site. This is only my second time posting but I am just so excited about my news that I had to share it. I have been living pretty much what you could call a single parent lifestyle for the past 45 days. My husband Harry is a Senior Chief in the NAVAL RESERVES and was mobilized on the 16th of July; of all places he went to KUWAIT. We were in complete shock for he had just returned from doing his 2 weeks annual duty in Hawaii 1 1/2 weeks before departing for this trip. Originally he was only to go for 2 weeks but 2 days before he was to return the phone rang. I said, "You're not coming home are you?" His response was "NO." I was devastated.
They wanted him to stay for 90 to another 180 days. I guess in a way Joshua was sent to us for a reason. I do not like to say that this was a good reason but they gave my husband a hardship discharge due to his rank and because we have a child with a disability. The best that they could do for him was an additional 30 days. In our 13 years of marriage I have never been separated this long and especially with 4 children all under 9. This has been the longest, hardest, loneliest 45 days of my life. No one to hug or cry with or just to be held. My children have really had a difficult time with this as well. Joshua has changed so much during this time and I feel for my husband on what he has missed out on. Well, we made it though. I am happy to say that he is returning back to the states on Saturday evening into Charlotte, NC at 6:45pm. Please if I could ask for some prayers that his flight goes safely and he arrives back home to us safe and sound. (especially with what was in the news the past 2 days) I know that I do not know you all well yet but I just wanted to share some exciting news with you. Thank you for reading and I will write again soon. (One question. What is the ICQ# and the URL mean. If someone could explain I would appreciate it.)

Happy birthday Sonny and Susan.!!!!!!!

Well well well... betcha all your kids are in school already ;C Nope not mine not till sept 9th.. But HEY I'm not complaining... ;{O

The circus was a BLAST.. OMG gotta fill ya in. Lets see get 20 or so kids about 3 typical kids and the rest with varying disabilities and WOW WHATTA CIRCUS!!!Olivia did her part fabulously. Her best and LOUDEST line was OF COURSE the BOSSY one saying..."GET ME SOMEONE!!!!" In the beginning of her part the stage is empty and she sticks her head out of a tent looks arund to the left and right then quickly closes the tent and marches the clowns out on the stage thru the tent.BUT the best part(besides seeing my girl) was a boy who came solely for the circus weeek. we had never met him until last week. He's a boy named K who is about 13 and from I believe China and has ds too. OH MAN. WELL the child is the BIGGEST HAM... During the performance he wanted to be on the stage all the time. Getting him backstage to get ready for next act was funny. He would walk off the stage and as soon as he heard clapping from the audience he would run back out take a bow clap with them or do a silly dance. Then during a restaurant scene he decided to walk out onstage. He sat at the tables and chairs and pretended to smoke a ciggarette.I know its not funny to smoke but man you shoulda seen him. He even went thru the process of pretending to put it out in a pretend ashtray on the table.THEN he starts to walk back one of the therapists go to grab his hand to help him back and he LMAO crouched down refusing to move. (sound familiar????)WELL the audience was cracking up cause of his improv act and he went back out we all clapped and he stood there so I said try saying BYE quietly to the audience of about 60 people and the auduence waved bye whereby he said bye and walked off the stage BUT THEY STARTED TO CLAP AGAIN and here came K running to stand on the stage and clap with them. LOLOLOL.. SO I said again to the audience how bout we say BYE to K WITHOUT clapping?? we did and he went . I was PIMP he was HYSTERICAL!!!! Pictures are on the way. Jeff had to work and my mom forgot.;(

love you guys.... and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA to the wallet and cesspool.

Barb - my brother just ran a conference at one of those casinos - maybe the same one? He lives in Synder or Amherst....we were talking last night and next time we get up there, we're all going to go. I've never been to a casino, but love to play poker and such. My brothers and I are going to start playing once a month (on-line)
UGH! Can I complain a minute? Sat night our cesspool went kaplooey and I have no kitchen sink, dishwasher or washing machine. thankfully we CAN shower because we have 2 cesspools...Eric is still trying to fix it, 2 days later -- it's a clog, but deep in the pipe somewhere. And tonight when he went to home depot he lost his wallet - he cancelled all his credit cards and then someone called to say they had found it. With all the $$ missing. But the cards & his license were there, so not as bad as it could have been.

SUSAN: Boston Butt Roast!!!! OMG!!! I almost fell off this chair when I read that phrase! All I could think of was when I was in college about a hundred years ago and a bunch of us went down to Daytona for spring break. We left Boston during the middle of a snowstorm so it's pretty easy to figure that we had NO color what so ever! Anyway, this very fair-skinned, freckled-faced red head parked her Boston butt out on that beach in a tiny little bikini ( Those were the days! ) and promptly fell asleep. A few hours later, what was I? A Boston Butt Roast!!! RFLOL!!! My butt and thighs ( and everyplace else for that matter! ) were so burnt I couldn't sit down! I think the only reason I was able to lay down to sleep was because of adult beverages - couldn't feel the pain after those!
~
ROBIN: Yes, I did say $500!!! But I was over to the new casino in Niagara Falls, Canada last night and managed to gamble better ( if there is such a thing! ) coming home with an extra $150! It is safely stashed away in the Columbus fund! Do ya think I'm pushing my luck if I go back to the casino later this week?!?
~
STEFF: How did Liv's big clown debut go?!?!? And what part did her big bro play?

Okay, gotta go try to catch a few zzzzz's!!! Hope all is well out there in UnoLand!

Robin~ I have to also admit that I really don't know what a Boston BUTT roast is....but it's a pork roast, and I'm assuming it comes from the BUTT portion of the pork....I'd rather not think about it! But, they are a BIG seller around here. Groups do fund raisers selling them all the time......they rub various spices all over it and then smoke it for like 24 hours and they sell for about $20. They can be divided into 3 pieces and make 3 different meals. The Girl Scout troop is selling them on September 25th and each girl is supposed to sell TEN of them!!!! Neither Emily or I are high pressure sales people, so this may be tough!!!

~
I'm hoping to post pictures soon, but wanted to post about Emily's belated birthday party. We purposely waited until school started so it would be easier to invite school friends......ok, ok, and financially speaking after so many little trips this summer, it really helped to wait a bit too!! We scheduled it for last Sunday afternoon from 1-4pm at our local pool. I was sort of nervous because the forcast was for rain and unseasonably cold weather, but it really was perfect. (a bit cooler than I would have wanted to be swimming in, but all the girls didn't seem to care at all). It seems like no one RSVP's anymore, so I really didn't know how many kids to expect, but we ended up with 9 kids plus Jordan/Em and Justin and everyone had a blast. Most of the girls who came were from Emily's Girl Scout troop....they have been SO sweet to her since kindergarten. It was such a funny thing because when Emily opened her presents, no matter what they were.....ALL the girls gave out a scream of excitement!! (something you don't see at a BOY'S birthday party, I must say!!) She ended up getting mostly money and Walmart gift cards, and she was really good about reading each card and hugging each person who gave her the gift. I always struggle to figure out what to put in the little "treat bags" that you give to the people who came to the party. This year, I went to Baskin Robbins and got $2 gift certificates for each child and Em gave them out at the end, saying "thanks for coming to my party". EASY, and fun!!! Afterward, as we were leaving the pool Emily said "this was the best party ever". LOL I think she says that every single year.....what a sweet kid! We immediately headed to Walmart, where Emily SLOWLY selected stuff to buy with her gift cards. She got a basketball, 2 CD's (Backstreet Boys....an old one that she used to love but had gotten broken, and a Raven one with all sorts of songs on it that you hear on the Disney Channel), perfume, several books, etc. She first told me she wanted to buy LOTS of candy, but when we got to the check out line, she selected one little tiny M&M's cannister and that was it! So, now that the party is history, I suppose I have to admit that my little girl is a certified TEENAGER. I took her to see "Princess Diaries 2", and afterward she kept saying she wanted to "go out" with one of the main characters. YIKES....I'm not ready for this!! BTW, it was a GREAT movie. I liked it better than the first one even!!
~
Speaking of Girl Scouts.....next March, Emily and I will be going to Washington DC with her Girl Scout troop for 5 days. We went to a meeting about the trip last Tuesday and it is going to be awesome! We are going on a tour bus and are scheduled to see SO many things!! So...between now and then, if anyone is interested in buying a Boston Butt Roast, Girl Scout cookies, snow cones, cotton candy or anything else......please let me know!! The fund raising for this trip is going to be vicious!!
~
Just a quick reminder....it's not too late to get a room in Columbus for the Labor Day weekend for the annual get together!!! EVERYONE come!!!!

HI!!!!!

OMG whatta DAY!!!!! Oh yes I have been to clown school all afternoon. I amm the person cueing the music. Its a definate comedy of errors.LMAO. MAYBE we'll pull it off tomorrow but today was errrr interesting.

Gotta brag on my girl she did a terrific job and we are gonna practice tonight since I have the script. Olivia is Dotty the Hypnotist clown. Heres what she hasta do for her part.
Hypnotist walks on the stage and says "I AM THE GREATEST!!!"
assistant holds up sign that says I am the greatest
Hypnotist says to the clown crowd, " YOU ARE GETTING SLEEPY." but no one is paying attention to the hypnotist. Clown seat walks onto stage freezes cause he got hypnotized, but no one notices.
Hypnotist yells at assistant "GET ME SOMEONE!!!"
Assistant grabs BOP clown, Hypnotist stares him down and says "YOU ARE SLEEPY."
Bop clown says , "NO I'M NOT!!!"
Hypnotist hits bop clown with a sign(bop sound)
Bop clown falls to chair and sits.
Staff covers Bop clown with blanket with 2 fake shoes at end of sticks
Hypnotist says, "I DID IT!!! " and tries to collect money.
Bop clown stands up holding fake shoes as if levitating
assistant sneezes, accidently grabbing sheet revealing fake shoesall goes dark all leave
PERFECT part for my BOSSY OLIVIA!!!!

BUT man its gonna be funny trying to get this together by 2 morrow plus I am babysitting twins till just before the performance. 6 week old twins. Mercy me what HAVE i GOTTEN MYSELF INTO.
lIV LOST HER TOP TOOTH NOW. sHE PULLED IT OUT IN THE CAR LAST NIGHT. jUST LIKE THAT.. HEE HEe

Barb....OMG, tell me you did NOT say $500.00!!!! That would of paid for your whole trip with lots to spare!!!! I guess now this means you better get out and get busy so you can make it to Columbus!!!!Wow, poor Barb, I think I would have wanted to take a trip over the falls too (LOL but we all know chicken girl Robin would NOt do that!)
Hi Beverly! Chase was potty trained by the time he was four but each child with DS is so different. I'll tell you what I did with Chase if you'd like and you can maybe tweak it to fit your Clarissa? I know alot of moms give their little ones alot to drink when potty trianing to get them to go potty but I never did, my philosphy was keep it normal. For the first week I put Chase on the potty every half hour, (that only works if you have lots of time)making sure he saw me go first (or pretend to and lots of yeas and claps for mommy going potty) and I would keep him on it just long enough to read a book to him and then let him up, pottied or not. And when he was successful, we did the happy dance, and I mean that includes squealing, cheering, yeaing, and lots of jumping and clapping :-D After the first week I backed it down to every hour as he was getting the idea pretty good after a soild week of consistancy. BTW...we stuck to the schedule even when we were out and the school was GREAT about my being adament with the half hour and then hourly schedule. I mean, who wants to change pants right? We did the hour schedule for about three months Beverly even though by then he was pretty regular with no accidents. We adjusted it then to every couple hours and finally he was just going when he had to go and we didnt have to take him in at all. He even did great with nighttime. We stopped all liquids at 7 every night and had him go potty before he went to bed.It took only a mnth or so and he was dry every night although we used pullups for night for about six months just to ensure he didnt wet his bed and he was always dry. I swear it was simply the consistancy and that is so hard to do in todays crazy life styles people have to lead, with most families needing two paychecks to stay above water.
Goood luck to you and Clarissa!
